    This certification preparation program is for individuals seeking the CAPM certification. The CAPM certification offers recognition to practitioners who are starting a career in project management as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge. This certification denotes that the individual possesses knowledge of the principles and terminology of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), the standard of project management’s generally recognized good practices.   • Prequisites

    General Requirement

    Students must be 18 years of age, and possess a high school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or Home School Diploma.

    PMI Organization Certification Recommendations/ Prerequisites

     To be eligible for the CAPM certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. At a minimum, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

    • A Secondary degree and 23 hours of project management education and/or 1,500 hours of professional experience on a project team

    PMI Organization Certification Exam Requirements

    To be Certified, students must pass the certification exam with a grade of 61% or higher in the allotted 3-hour timeframe on the 150-question exam (only 135 are scored questions, remaining 15 questions are dispersed throughout the 5 domains as pretest questions).

    • Topic C: Recognize where outputs from one process become inputs into another
    • Topic D: Recognize that the same techniques and tools are used in several places
    • Topic E: Define the six processes typically associated with integration management
    • Topic F: Identify and describe the ITTOs associated with those six processes

    • Topic D: Define the three processes typically associated with project quality management

    • Topic G: Apply quality tools to simple scenarios to identify issues, root causes, trends, and/or problems
